JOB/POSITION SUMMARY

The Creative Manager is responsible for the overall output of the Creative Department in support of Ecell’s corporate vision, mission and core values. Strategizing for creative processes, project delegation and identifying resources for efficient and effective allocation are primary duties covered by the position. The Creative Manager ensures the profitability and creative quality of Creative Team projects, and the operational readiness of the Creative Team, all in fulfillment of the Ecell brand promise.
The Creative Manager reports to Executive Director and is a member of senior management.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work collaboratively with other members of management, participate in company strategizing, and make recommendations for changes to the creative function to meet market changes, competitive threats or to support strategic plans.
  • Understand Ecell’s strategic goals and brand; analyze the creative team, environment, processes, technologies, etc., to determine areas needing improvement; and build and direct a creative function aligned with and supportive of those goals.
  • Build the culture for creative team attitude, behavior, teamwork and professional development revolving around Ecell’s core values.
  • Direct the activities and professional development of creative team members, including conducting staff reviews, taking corrective actions and recommending promotions.
  • Constantly study the market for trends while assessing where Ecell output stands against competitors’ creative work.
  • Maintain the department’s  timelines and ensure that all members of the team are aligned with production schedules that are supported by a sound rationale.
  • Assure that timely, effective and informative communication takes place between the creative functions and other departments, senior management, executive directors and external clients.
  • Contribute to the strategic and creative development of Ecell’s marketing and branding efforts for new business development.
  • Ensure self and staff development in web-based and interactive design capabilities.
  • Quality control, including proofing, reviewing, measuring and evaluating staff performance, creative output and project process(es).
  • Support ad hoc projects as may be assigned by the Executive Directors.

  • Working knowledge of Flash, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong  understanding of interactive media production.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Clarkfield, Pampanga.
  • Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design or equivalent.
